Building on the success of the Serenade! Washington, DC Choral Festival that takes place at the end of June each summer, Classical Movements is proud to announce that special, unique and leading choirs from abroad will be brought to Washington, DC during the normal concert season as part of the Serenade! two of America's most notable cities: historic Philadelphia and the ever-popular New York City. The tour featured a variety of meaningful musical experiences including a performance at the Philadelphia International Music Festival, a masterclass with a Philadelphia Orchestra member, a chance to hear the world-class Philadelphia Orchestra in concert, and a performance for enthusiastic audiences in New York City.

In Philadelphia, audiences enjoyed Peabody Youth Orchestra's performances at Bryn Mawr College's Goodhart Hall as part of the Philadelphia International Music Festival. In New York City, the orchestra performed at the beautiful Church of St. Paul the Apostle, whose architecture is inspired by the 4th & 5th century early Christian basilicas in Ravenna, Italy.
